Our Team
Adrian Paton, owner and director, always loved trucks and in 1995, in the midst of one of the worst droughts in history, he sort off-farm income by utilising the farm truck to cart grain during harvest. This lead to an expansion of the fleet over the years to 14 trucks and over 60 trailers. He is assisted in the running of the business by his wife, Bridget, who is the administration officer, Josh, our mechanic and our team of 8 drivers.
Our Fleet
The fleet consists of a combination Kenworth and Western Star prime movers and towing equipment including bulk tipper trailers, side tipper trailers and flat trailers. The configurations utilised include b-doubles, road trains and A-B Triples. Five of the prime movers are PBS approved A-Double combinations and can access numerous sites in Brisbane to deliver and pick up all bulk commodities.
Accreditation
Patons Transport and Logistics have always recognised the need for a business and risk management system that improves the safety and professionalism of trucking operators. Safety is a core value and we have an excellent history. We have been accredited with TruckSafe and NHVR for more than 25 years in the modules of Mass, Maintenance and Fatigue.
